Little Big Burger

I finally got to try this burger place I’ve been hearing about and boy am I glad I did.  I found the food to truly live up to the rumors I had been hearing.  Of course it was a really good sign to show up to a packed restaurant.

I normally like to have plenty of choices but I really enjoy the simplicity of the menu at Little Big Burger.  To begin with, I find a burger is automatically better when made with a brioche bun.  I was also pleased with the smaller size.  This makes these burgers perfect for snacks or meals.  I had the cheese burger which had four different local cheese options.  I had mine with goat cheese (chevre) which I highly recommend.  I’m going to have trouble getting myself to try the other cheeses.  The meat was great and the toppings were of the usual variety and added to the over all flavor.

The fries had a white truffle oil if I remember correctly.  I normally eat my fries plain but they had a great fry sauce at the table.  I think a serving of fries was actually bigger than one burger.  Over all a great experience and I can’t wait to go again.  So if you find your self in the Pearl District anytime soon stop by NW 10th Ave between Couch and Davis, let me know what you think.
